Nomenclature
There are no known nomenclatural or taxonomic synonyms.
Geographic Distribution and Plant Hosts
Most of the references in the plant host database (e.g., Kern et al. 1933; Dennis 1970; Buritica & Pardo Cardona 1996; Pardo Cardona 1998) appear to refer to the original collection of U. cundinamarcensis on Apium ternatum (Willd.) Thellung var. ranunculifolium (H.B.K.) Thellung by Mayor (1913). The record of U. cundinamarcensis on A. ternatum in Brazil was reported only by Watson (1971) with no supporting details.
